“As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.”

~Henry David Thoreau

Suggestive Hypnosis For Habits and Issues:

Hypnosis can be used for a number of habits and issues, to include:

Weight reduction and maintenance, becoming a Non-smoker, controlling stress and learning how to relax automatically. Issues and problems with sleep, career, sports, studying, relationships, and most any other area of life can be changed and enhanced successfully using hypnosis.

Dependent upon needs and goals, Rebecca will provide trance work processes and teach client tools, such as anchors, future pacing, using inner strengths and self-hypnosis to ensure client is prepared to meet outside influences that affect success. A regression to cause is a follow-up option and can be discussed during the consultation or first session interview.

The session interview assists Rebecca and the client in creating an effective, powerful and personalized hypnosis session. The effects of hypnosis can be immediate but client reinforcement, using the provided audio and other tools provided, will ensure continued success.

Rebecca guides her client into a relaxing and peaceful trance induction, allowing the client to bypass the critical factor (the judging, analyzing, conscious mind) to allow the client to use his or her subconscious mind to accept suggestions the client wants, in order to change and gain control over habits and issues. This inner state can be compared to being in various depth levels of meditation.

The Full Hypnosis Session is comprised of session interview and trance work processes to obtain the core issue along with the use of hypnosis. The final resulting hypnosis is recorded and the resulting reinforcement audio is uploaded to an MP3 file and will be emailed.  A CD can be downloaded and presented at the session or both.

Session Length

Please Note: Often one session is all that is needed when you use the reinforcement audio recorded during the session as instructed. For some ingrained, life long habits, such as weight or smoking issues, a second or third session may be needed. A regression “to cause” option may also be considered and beneficial (regression therapy).

Recommendation for changing or eliminating deep personal habits: 1-3 sessions depending upon issue, goals, and individual’s needs.  Session needs will be dependent upon depth and level of the issue and having a high motivation level toward change.

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of relaxation and/or level of inner focus that the average individual reaches on a daily basis. We all experience various levels of consciousness each day by way of falling asleep and sleeping, contemplation and repetition, reading, watching TV, driving, meditation, or daydreaming. These various levels of consciousness also correspond to the four main brainwave lengths of Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta states where the Alpha/Theta state is most experienced with the subconscious mind and where hypnosis and self-hypnosis takes place. According to the late Dr. Allen Chips, DCH., “Usual Altered States of Consciousness” refers to sleeping, day dreaming, or biochemical shifts such as fever, or other drug usage. “Applied Altered States of Consciousness” refer to meditation, prayer, and creative visualization and are all forms of hypnosis.

Can a person’s memory be erased?

No. But a certified hypnotherapist can help a person transform a memory that is causing problems.

Can everyone be hypnotized?

Yes, provided the individual has normal physiological and psychological functioning and therefore the ability to relax and concentrate. There is a positive correlation between a person’s willingness to relax and the ability to undergo hypnosis.

Do people under hypnosis go to sleep?

No, one should not expect to go to sleep. Instead the mind is in a relaxed state of inner awareness that feels very comfortable. If one does feel rather sleep like, the mind will still accept all suggestions given and can be further strengthened by listening to the recorded session audio.

Do people under hypnosis lose their will?

No. Hypnosis cannot detach the ego. People who are outgoing and want to have fun and relax usually influence the success of stage hypnosis. Hypnosis for healing is entirely different and an individual can accept or reject any suggestion given and awaken if they want.
